This presentation describes a new simulator motivated
by the modeling of oilfield applications. It uses a novel combination of
Incompressible Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics and GPU computing. This offers
reduced run times with reliable results even under high accelerations. All
significant computation occurs on the GPU, minimising costly data transfers.
Several new computational developments are introduced including techniques for
solving sparse matrix problems entirely on the GPU. The simulator is
demonstrated for development test cases with results correct to within 2% of
analytical solutions.
